This department develops varied forms of finished dosages such as tablets, gelatine capsules (hard and soft), liquid orals, powders for oral suspension, DPIs (single dose dry powder inhalers), pMDIs (pressurised metered-dose inhalers), topicals and injections. The team works on the development of generics and new drug delivery systems (NDDS).

This department supports all forms of analytical development, required for APIs and formulations. We use sophisticated equipment such as NMR, XRD and LCMS, among others.

A clinical research department of international repute, our bioequivalence centre meets the growing needs of quality drug production. Set up in 2005, it has since then successfully carried out over 2500 studies and validated analytical methods for over 200 molecules. Approved by CDSCO, accredited by DSIR, India, the centre is also routinely inspected by various Indian and international regulatory bodies such as USFDA, WHO, MHRA, NPRA-Malaysia, ANVISA, MCC and GLP-Thailand, and is equipped to work across clinical, bio-analytical, pharmacokinetic and statistical services.
